Meet the Founder

As the founder of Star’s Legacy Homes, this mission is more than a vision—it’s personal. Inspired by my grandmother, Seldora “Star” Miller, whose home was always open to anyone in need, I carry forward her legacy of love, compassion, and service.
 

My journey in caregiving began with respite care for children with autism, followed by working in assisted living facilities supporting seniors, including those with memory loss. Along the way, I’ve witnessed the deep impact that safe, supportive housing can have—especially for those overcoming addiction, trauma, or life transitions.
 

Motivated by personal experiences within my own family—veterans, individuals in recovery, and those who faced housing insecurity—I felt called to create Star’s Legacy Homes: a place where healing begins, community is built, and second chances are honored.

This is my purpose—and it’s just the beginning.
